Founded in 2008 by a small team of highly experienced aviation professionals, we have grown into one of the most dependable aircraft maintenance operations in the industry. The AAT Aircraft Maintenance Team
Brian Allen, founder and principle of AAT Aircraft Maintenance, began his aviation career at Regal Aviation where he served as Director of Charter and Owner Services. Brian was primarily responsible for driving revenue through the company’s charter department and maintaining relationships with asset management customers. After his time at Regal Aviation, Brian served as the National Director of Vendor Relations for JetDirect where he was responsible for seeking out qualified service vendors, writing and implementing a company-wide standards manual, and inspecting vendor aircraft and records on a national level.
Jim Balzer is a founding partner and the Director of Maintenance Operations at AAT Aircraft Maintenance. Jim has a diverse 28 years of aircraft maintenance experience with 20 years specific to corporate aircraft. Jim served as Falcon Jet Program Manager at KC Aviation’s Dallas facility and is factory trained for service on Falcon 10, 50, 900, and 2000 aircraft. In addition to his extensive experience and training in Falcon aircraft, Jim has nine years of heavy maintenance experience at a Part 145 repair station and nine years of experience as Director of Maintenance at an on-demand Part 135 repair station where he oversaw the performance of heavy inspections for Gulfstream, Hawker, Falcon, and Lear aircraft.
Josh Goodman, Lead Supervisor and Chief Inspector at AAT Aircraft Maintenance, is highly qualified in the field of aircraft maintenance with over 20 years of extensive, hands-on experience with corporate and commercial aircraft. Josh began his aviation career as an F-16 and F-117 A Crew Chief for the United States Air Force and, after four years of service, began his career in corporate aircraft maintenance as an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic for Regal Aviation. In his eight years at AAT Aircraft Maintenance, Josh has served as the Lead Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic and currently as the Lead Supervisor and Chief Inspector.
